DS system self-cleaning filter overview

 


1.DS series have four types of structure: Y,F,L and T type.

2. Single filter flow rate is 25-9300t/h.

3. Pipe diameter: DN50 ~ DN1200mm.

4. Design pressure: 1.0 MPa, 1.6 MPa, 2.5 MPa, 4.0 MPa.

5. Filtration accuracy from 100 microns to 5000 microns.

6. Filtration area: 1500cm2 ~ 75000cm2.

7. Cleaning control mode: differential pressure, time and manual.

8. The cleaning method is simple, electric brush type.

9. The amount of water discharged during cleaning is extremely small, less than 1% of the total filtration volume, and the cleaning continues.



Working principle

 


DS series electric brush filter is a fully automatic cleaning filter. A brush is installed in the filter screen. The brush is rotated by the motor and an electromagnetic drain valve is installed on the filter cover. During cleaning, the signal from the differential pressure switch is transmitted to the control panel. The control panel opens the blowdown valve and simultaneously starts the motor, and the brush rotates to brush off the dirt impurities. Under the action of hydraulic force, the filter is discharged through the drain valve. Cleaning does not require interruption.



Create material

 


1. Filter housing: carbon steel, epoxy asphalt paint, epoxy coating (stainless steel available upon request).

2. Filter: All stainless steel.

3. Cleaning device: stainless steel, nylon, PVC.

4. Drainage valve: brass, stainless steel.

5. Sealing ring: synthetic rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene.



Filtration and cleaning

 


The water flows from the inlet of the filter, flows out from the outlet through the filter, and the impurity particles in the water flow continuously accumulate on the inner surface of the filter, so that the pressure difference between the upstream and the downstream of the filter increases, and when the pressure difference between the upstream and the downstream of the filter increases, When the pressure difference between the upstream and downstream (inlet and outlet) of the filter reaches a predetermined value (0.05 MPa), the differential pressure switch transmits a signal to the control panel, and the control panel starts the motor to drive the brush to rotate and brush off the dirt impurities on the filter screen. At the same time, the drain valve is opened and the dirt is drained from the drain valve.



Controlling System

 


Adoptted PLC automatic controlling. The cleaning can be controlled according to the pressure difference or timing, and can be manually cleaned and selected to be continuously cleaned, and there is a warning signal or corresponding action when a fault occurs.



Application range

 


1. Cooling water treatment-cooling tower, supplementary water system, air conditioning system, DC system water filtration, reduce the generation of sediment in the heat exchanger, and maintain its cooling effect.


2. Raw water treatment-It can filter surface water, lake water, sea water, reservoir water, well water and groundwater to remove sand, bacteria, algae, organic matter and so on.

3.Industrial circulating water filtration-used in equipment that requires certain water quality, such as cooling towers, rolling mills, continuous casting machines, polishing, water pumps, solenoid valves, ion exchangers, sprayers, heat exchangers, etc. It can filter out impurities in water and avoid blockage of components such as pipes and nozzles.

4.Irrigation-especially suitable for water sources with high flow rates, high levels of impurities, agricultural irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, parks, golf courses, turf watering, etc.

5.Paper industry-white water filtration.

6.Plastic Industry-Product Recovery Cooling Water Filtration.



Selection method

 


1. Determine the parameters: maximum working flow Q or inlet and outlet pipe diameter DN maximum working pressure P, working temperature filtration accuracy.

2. Determine the result form according to the site installation location.

3.Determine the relevant materials: filter material, shell material.

4.Determine the filter model.



Selection example

 


1. The maximum working flow of the system is 1200t/h, the working pressure is 1.2MPa, the working temperature is 60°C, and the filtering precision is 0.2mm. Select the L-shaped structure according to the installation location on site.

2. Check Table 2, the flow rate is 1200t/h and the diameter is DN400mm (16").

3.Check Table 1 and the standard filtration accuracy rating table, select a stainless steel V-shaped mesh with a filtration accuracy of 0.2 mm, and select a common carbon steel casing according to the working medium.
